WHERE ARE YOU ON the JOURNEY?
We are all on a journey, whether you have just started following Jesus or you have been on the path for a while, we all need help along the way. Paul a follower of Jesus wrote this prayer:
“ I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, – Eph 1:17-18
The 4 things we can pull from this prayer:
1. KNOW GOD
John 17:3 And this is eternal life, that they know you the only true God.
Our greatest goal is to know God and make Him known. Jesus died and rose again, so that we can have a living, activate relationship with the Father through the Holy Spirit. Like any relationship this takes time.
Below is a link to tools which we believe can help you on this journey.
2. FIND FREEDOM
The greatest freedom we find is through salvation in Jesus. This salvation is not just about what we are saved from, but what we are saved into. You are saved into community! Jesus’ calling was come simple “come follow me”. Thou we have received freedom we are still working it out. Jesus called his disciples into community as the breeding ground for this greater freedom.
The disciples shackles of their Past, Pain, Problems & People were exposed in community. Peter would not have experienced exposure of his anger or weakness to peer pressure, had he not been in community. But it was also in community he found healing, a new freedom!
We believe in Connect Groups as we journey together, that this is the catalyst for new freedom. Click below to find out more information:
3. DISCOVER PURPOSE
We all have a purpose that God desires for us to fulfill, We are all on this earth for a reason. Whether we are leading, supporting, contributing, we want to make an impact in this world. Yet we all go through seasons where we feel stuck, burned out, or maybe just unclear on our future direction. The problem is that many don’t know how to break free so we can live the life God dreams for us.

Take hold of this glorious and inheritance – to be part of renewal of all things. What difference can I make? The first step we can make is to turn up to give. To be fully present and give who you are, In church, work, family. How can you give?
