Youāre Invited to Experience Easter at Point View Church.
Easter is a story of hope.
Life holds both beauty and brokenness. Moments of joy, and moments of loss. Easter reminds us that darkness does not have the final word. Through the death and resurrection of Jesus, God meets us in our pain and brings new life where we least expect it. This Easter weekend we invite you to slow down, reflect, and rediscover the hope at the heart of the Christian story.
Good Friday- April 3rd 7pm
The Shadow of the Cross
Enter the story of the cross. A reflective gathering walking through the final hours of Jesusā journey to the cross.
Why do we call it Good Friday?
Before we celebrate the joy of Easter morning, we pause to sit in the tension of Friday night. We bring our questions, our grief, and the weight we carry in our lives. The cross reminds us that God does not avoid our darkness ā He enters it.
Through Scripture, reflection, and quiet moments of prayer we will walk through the shadows surrounding the crucifixion ā betrayal, denial, isolation, suffering, and death ā before gathering around the table for communion.
Easter Sunday - 10.30am
Resurrection Celebration
The story didnāt end at the cross.
Jesus rose from the grave bringing forgiveness, hope, and new life.
Our Easter gathering will last about 90 minutes and include worship, prayer, Scripture, and a message of hope.
Come as you are ā most people dress casually.
Families and kids are welcome.
What to Expect
Before the Service
We are a non-denominational church and we dress casual! We serve coffee, tea, and pastries from 10:00 so come early to connect and get to know someone new. At 10:30 a leader will come to the stage to welcome everyone, pray, and begin the service. The service length will around 90mins.
Kids
We offer a variety of programs for children from toddler through to fifth grade during the whole service. To save time, ask us about how to register your children ahead of time, or one of our volunteers will help explain the process in person! 6-12 year olds will be released after worship to their classes.
Worship
We believe worship is an interactive experience and we seek to be led by the spirit. Words will be shown on screen and there may be times people express their unique worship to God. Leaders may come up to pray, share scripture, and encourage.
Sermons
After worship, the main speaker will give a talk for 30-40 minutes. We have a rotating preaching team who bring relevant, biblically-rooted teaching to help you apply the Bible to your everyday life.
After the Service
Stick around and hang out after the service to connect! We continue serving tea and coffee, and our Resource Lounge makes a great space to meet people, find out more about our church, and browse Bible studies that equip you to follow Jesus
