Our Leaders

Jonathan and Rachel Taplin are the lead Pastors at Point View Church.

Jonny was born just outside London, England and Rachel, second daughter of Craig and Wendy Bellis, was born in Washington, PA. They met at Hillsong Bible College in Sydney, Australia in 2006. After completing Worship and Creative Arts course in 2007, they got married in 2008.

After their wedding, they moved back to Jonny’s home church in the UK, City Church, where they oversaw the worship team for a number of years. In September of 2012, they moved back to the US and joined the staff of the church, part time, overseeing the worship ministry. In 2015 they were ordained as Pastors and became full time staff at the church. In 2019, Jonny was installed as Lead Pastor.

Point View is a family church that desires to point people to the way of Jesus. No matter where you are on the journey, we desire to create space for you to connect, grow, and experience more of Him!

God’s Kingdom is about making all things new. From the beginning of creation to the book of Revelation, God’s plan has always been to restore our souls and the systems of this world to His way. Jesus invites imperfect people, empowered by the Spirit, to experience His love and share it with others.

Our hope is that this is a place for you to belong, and to find relationships that encourage and sharpen you in the way of Jesus. We want you to be equipped to discover your identity in Christ and walk in the path Jesus has for you!
