Weekly Prayer
June, 2025 – Week 3
Prayer Guide
Let's stay connected through prayer, even though we won't be gathering in person on Wednesdays this month. Use this guide throughout the week – on your own or with others – as we continue to seek the Lord together.
I. Priority of Presence
In response to Sunday’s message, ask God to continue to increase being present to one another.
Lord, help us slow down and choose Your presence over busyness.
Jesus, open our eyes to truly see and care for those at our tables.
Holy Spirit, teach us to listen with love and give our full attention.
God, make our tables sacred spaces where You are known and welcomed.
II. Seal The Heart Work That Happened at ‘Mission Washington’.
Pray for lasting transformation — that the seeds God planted in students and adults would take deep root and bear lasting fruit.
Ask for protection over new commitments — that the enemy would not snatch away what God has begun, but that faith, purpose, and calling would be guarded and nourished.
Pray for ongoing discipleship — that each person would be surrounded by mentors and community to continue walking in what God showed them.
Lift up continued relationship with residents — that the love and presence of Jesus expressed through service would lead to enduring connections and gospel opportunities in the neighborhood.
III. Increase Unity Amongst Churches In Washington
Pray for a kingdom-first mindset — that churches would prioritize God’s mission over competition or comparison.
Ask for a spirit of humility and collaboration — that pastors and leaders would intentionally pursue one another in friendship and shared purpose.
Pray against division and isolation — that anything causing distrust, pride, or misunderstanding would be healed by the Spirit.
Pray for shared vision and mission — that the churches would be known for loving one another and working together to see lives transformed across Washington.
IV. Baptism Sunday - June 29th
Pray for those being baptized — that their hearts would be filled with the love, joy, and peace of the Holy Spirit as they take this step of obedience.
Pray for boldness and clear witness — that this public declaration of faith would inspire others to follow Jesus.
Lift up the gathering itself — that the presence of God would be tangible, that the church would celebrate well, and that unbelievers would be drawn to Jesus through the testimony of changed lives.
