Weekly Prayer

October, 2025 – Week 3

Prayer Guide

Let's stay connected through prayer, even though we won't be gathering in person on Wednesdays this month. Use this guide throughout the week – on your own or with others – as we continue to seek the Lord together.

I. Be Still and Know:

In response to Sunday’s message, ask God to help us to see and seek Him as our refuge and strength.

  • Lord, help us to see You in the storm. See you bringing Your presence and peace. You are with us!

  • Jesus, teach us and give us the strength to be still and know, You are God. Help us to trust You!

  • Holy Spirit, give us the boldness and courage to cease striving, release control and lay before You our struggles, situations, fears, accusations and lies we're believing.

  • God, teach us to trust You completely with everything we're facing. No matter how big or dark the storm is. You're in control, God!

II. Rooted Classes in October:

In response to this month’s learning, ask God to form us as disciples rooted in Him.

  • Lord, deepen our life of prayer so we learn to be still, listen, and walk in step with You.

  • Jesus, ground our identity in Your love and show us how to use our gifts for the good of others.

  • Holy Spirit, teach us wisdom and freedom in how we handle money and resources.

  • God, make us a people who live with open hands — devoted to prayer, secure in our identity, and generous in Your kingdom.

III. Unite the City - October 18th

In response to this upcoming outreach, ask God to unify His church and bless Washington through our service.

  • Lord, bring churches and groups together in unity to serve as one body.

  • Jesus, let our acts of love shine Your light in every corner of the city.

  • Holy Spirit, empower volunteers with joy, compassion, and strength.

  • God, use this day to bless families and children, meeting both practical needs and spiritual hunger..
